Who We Are
Built by a construction professional who has seen what happens when owners don't have representation on their side.
The Founder
Fieldstone Oversight was founded by Brennan O'Quinn, a Commercial Superintendent with over 10 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale construction projects across school, healthcare, and commercial sectors throughout the Delaware and Philadelphia region.
Brennan has managed projects up to $150M, working directly in the field every day, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing pay applications, managing schedules, and solving the problems that derail projects when no one is watching closely enough.
After years inside large commercial projects, a pattern became impossible to ignore. Large developers had full teams reviewing every contract, verifying every pay application, and monitoring every schedule update. Smaller investors and property owners had none of that.
Owners were paying for work that wasn't complete. Getting hit with change orders that should have been in the original scope. Falling behind schedule with no clear explanation why. Most of the time, they had no way to know it was happening until real money was already lost.
That's why Fieldstone Oversight exists. To give smaller owners and investors the same level of professional construction oversight that large developers take for granted.
Our Mission
When a large institution builds a hospital or a school, they have a full team watching every contractor move, reviewing every pay application, walking every site visit, analyzing every schedule. That level of protection is baked into how they operate.
A small developer doing a 10-unit building or a property owner renovating a commercial space gets none of that. They're on their own, relying on the contractor's word, and often paying for it.
Fieldstone Oversight was built to change that. We bring the same standard of oversight to smaller projects at a price that makes sense for the size of the job.
Rooted Here
Brennan O'Quinn grew up in Newark, Delaware as a Christina School District kid. He has spent his entire career working on major construction projects throughout Delaware and the greater Philadelphia region, building firsthand knowledge of local contractors, subcontractors, and the development community along the way.
That local knowledge matters. Understanding how contractors in this market operate, what fair pricing looks like here, and which practices are warning signs is not something you get from a textbook. It comes from years of working in the field in this specific region.
Outside of construction, Brennan has spent 10 years coaching youth football in the community, developing and mentoring young athletes in the area. The same principles carry over: preparation, accountability, and showing up for the people counting on you.
How We Work
01
We have no relationship with any contractor, GC, or subcontractor. We never take commissions. Our only obligation is to you.
02
Every site visit, pay app review, and consultation produces a written deliverable. Clear documentation you can act on and refer back to.
03
We tell you what we find, including the things that are uncomfortable. If your contractor is overbilling, you'll know.
04
Our recommendations are grounded in real field experience, not just theory. We've dealt with contractors, change orders, delays, and disputes firsthand.
05
Construction moves fast. We respond quickly, show up when we say we will, and turn around reports within 24 hours of a site visit.
06
We work for you. Not the contractor, not the GC, not the lender. Every recommendation we make is oriented toward protecting your project and your investment.
